NIA Arrests One in Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Blast

In the Rameshwaram Cafe blast, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced the arrest of one person and identified two others as suspects. 


Muzammil Shareef was arrested by the NIA on Wednesday after a series of raids across 18 locations in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh. He is believed to have played a crucial role in supporting the main perpetrators of the attack. 


The NIA has also identified Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain as the prime suspect who carried out the blast with an improvised explosive device (IED). Hussain, along with another alleged conspirator, Abdul Matheen Taha, remain at large. Taha is reportedly wanted in connection with other cases as well. 


While Shareef is now in custody, the NIA continues to search for the two prime suspects in the blast case.



"This arrest marks a crucial step forward in the investigation," an NIA spokesperson stated. "Our teams are working diligently to apprehend the remaining suspects and bring them to justice." 


Authorities are working on the reason behind the attack . The NIA is urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain or Abdul Matheen Taha to come forward.
